How is Down Syndrome Indiana funded?
Individuals, corporations and other civic organizations contribute to the organization, often as part of the Buddy Walk or the D.A.D.S. golf outing. Additionally, on occasion, IDSF has been awarded support from granting agencies.
How much are membership dues?
The Down Syndrome Indiana is not a membership-based organization; therefore, there are no annual membership fees. Monetary donations are always appreciated, as are gifts of energy, time, resources and dedication. Many employers will match the contributions their employees give to IDSF.
Does Down Syndrome Indiana receive United Way funds?
No, not directly.
How many people are involved with the organization?
More than 5,000 individuals are involved as contributors, affiliates, volunteers, and others. At least 1,800 of those are families of individuals with Down syndrome. Our list continues to grow daily.
